The Sydney Underground Film Festival presents TAKE48, the 48-hour Filmmaking Challenge.
Dive headfirst into the top 40 short films, all created in just 48-hours for the 2026 challenge. This 2-hour session is stacked to the brim with all sorts of weird, wild and wonderful, and is guaranteed to have something for everyone.

AWARDS PRESENTATION
This year's TAKE48 awards presentation will be held in the cinema, straight after the screening.
AUDIENCE FAVOURITE AWARD
Each ticket comes with a vote in the Audience Favourite Award, so be sure to bring your friends, bring your family, and bring your most easily influenced acquaintance!
FACTORY THEATRE COURTYARD KICK-ONS
SUFF has the whole venue to ourselves this year, so you are welcome to stick around after the screening to grab a bite from the food trucks and a drink from the bar, and to say g'day to all the TAKE48 filmmakers!
